Introduction

A. What do we need most to live Successfully, to make right decisions, And to do the right things on a daily Basis?

B. The answer to the question is: Incredible amounts of wisdom.

1. Everyday we come to cross Roads in our lives.

2. The decisions we make are very Crucial.

C. There's more than one kind of wisdom.

1. There's earthly wisdom.

2. There's heavenly wisdom.

D. Early in the solomon he had Acknowledged the wisdom of god, but Along the way he had shoved god's Wisdom into the back corner of his Heart.

E. Ecclesiastes 7 records the beginning Of solomon's journey back home.

1. He's tried it all. Nothing has Satisfied. Now, he turns to god.

2. His journey is a great lesson for Us in the power of godly wisdom.

F. In ecclesiastes 7 we learn that godly Wisdom provides several things.

I. Godly wisdom provides comfort. V. 1-4

A. V. 1. Your name represents how you Live life between birth and death.

1. What do people think when they Hear your name?

Ill. Mother theresa. Her name has Significance.

2. Your name has significance.

3. V. 1 illustrates the importance Of a good reputation.

4. Our actions represent our Names and the name of god.

Ill. Teens: you carry your parents Name with you.

B. ''The day of death is better than the Day of birth...''

1. This is not to say we are to Rejoice when one dies.

2. It does say when we die as a Believer the first moments in God's presence will convince us That eternal life is better than Temporal life.

C. V. 2. It's better to go to a funeral Than a feast.

1. Feast represents the world's Parties where people attempt to Escape reality.

2. A funeral slows us down and Makes us realize what life is all About. We learn the realities of Life.

3. What is reality?

A. We all will die.

B. Death is not an end.

C. There is an eternity. There is a heaven And a hell. ...
