Eph 2:19 KJV - Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Eph 2:20 KJV - And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone];

Eph 2:21 KJV - In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Eph 2:22 KJV - In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

This is sermon 4 in our series "Living Upright In An Upside Down World." We discussed the ramifications of not allowing the bible to be our moral compass, because in this upside-down world, we must have a line of demarcation. Unless we have the bible as our moral compass and as our guideline, then any and all things go and are acceptable.

We also discussed the fallacy of "Gender Bending" and how that the acceptance of any genders besides male and female is wrong and unacceptable. Last week we discussed the danger of thinking that any old things go and the false believe of eternal security provides one with a "license to sin." Because we have been saved, washed, sanctified, and justified, then we avoid sin at all cost, right?

Today, we will discuss "The Church" and the responsibility of being called into "The Household of God." In my teenage years, I had no personal moral compass and often found myself in situations that could go from somewhat bad to very bad. If not for my dad and his good name, I would have crossed the line with my friends, but I rarely did, because in the back of my mind, I knew that whatever I did, could bring honor or dishonor to his name.
