Introduction

Structures that had taken years to Build were destroyed in less than a Minute. Implosion differs from an Explosion in that the building Collapses inward rather than Outward in an implosion. A series of Charges is attached to the skeletal Structure and then set off in Sequence. It doesn't take long before The building is reduced to a pile of Rubble. First, there are flashes of Light as the explosives are Detonated. Then one can see cracks Forming in the outside wall. The Structure plummets straight down Amidst a rising cloud of dust.
B. This process depicts what can happen In our lives in so many areas as we Fight the rat race.
C. The bible portrays many whose lives Imploded, or crumbled within.
1. Samson: a series of bad choices That eventually robbed him of His spiritual power.
2. David: stayed home while other Kings went to battle.
3. Solomon: in whose life god had Invested awesome amounts of Wisdom only to see it slowly Dissipate as solomon became More intrigued with the sensual.
D. There are areas of our lives solomon Points out that can cause us to Implode if they are not given careful Attention.
I. Deficiencies left unresolved. V. 1-3
A. Solomon uses the illustration of Perfume to point out the danger of Unresolved deficiencies in our lives.
