Before time began God had a plan in motion. His plan, in part, is to spend eternity with His redeemed family.

Some ask, "If this is God's plan, why so much suffering?" The answer is that mankind has chosen our path of life and walked away from our creator. Yet, God's plan continues unfolding toward His desired outcome of spending eternity with us.

To begin, I give a reminder of the last verse of chapter 10. John is given a renewed call to "prophesy again about all things." This is a message that this call to us NEVER ENDS!!

Revelation 11 finds this world still in the 'lull'. In fact, the 'lull' lasts from Chapter 10 to 14. Many scholars attest the fact that Revelation 11 may be the most difficult chapter to understand and yet, at the same time, it holds much truth. (READ TEXT)

Let's see God's plan as it continues to unfold. Today, we see two visible manifestations that assist us in understanding it all.

1. Temple Worship - Any Temple mentioned in scripture (5) is known as the place of prayer/worship. John is given a 'tool,' a reed like a rod.' This measuring tool is a very specific. THIS; This measuring tool measures by God's standard.


a. Evaluate - John is told to measure the temple, the altar, and the worshippers. This specific temple is constructed during the first half of the tribulation. Likely the Anti-Christ approved the construction and also, as a part of the 'peace treaty' which he forged he may even fund it. He is now the 'leader of the world' and in control. He's playing nice, but he is waiting to make his move. But don't get focused on the anti-C ...
