I. Introduction

A. Some of the most perplexing problems Facing people today are associated With financial matters.

1. Financial matters can cause Great stress within a marriage.

2. A national survey done several Years ago reported that over ½ Of the families surveyed fought A lot over money matters.

B. The bible is the key that unlocks the Door to financial matters.

1. The bible has much to say about Money.

2. John macarthur tells us: ''sixteen Out of thirty eight parables Deal with money, more is said in The nt about this subject than Heaven and hell combined; five Times more is said about money Than prayer; and while there Are 500 plus verses on both Prayer and faith, there are over 2000 verses dealing with money And possessions.''

I. One of the key verses on money Is found in i timothy 6:10. This Verse is taken out of context by Many. It doesn't say money is The root of evil, but the love of Money is the root of all kinds of Evils and brings great sorrow.

Ii. Search the scriptures

A. Money is neutral.

1. Money is morally neutral.

2. The pursuit of it can become as Addictive as drugs and alcohol.

B. Money has the power to rule our Lives.

1. Either we master it, or it Masters us.

2. ''Money is a wonderful servant, But it is a horrible master.''

3. One can't serve two masters.

4. Matthew 6:24 says, ''no one can Serve two masters, for either he Will hate the one and love the Other, or else he will be loyal To the one and despise the other. You cannot serve god and Mammon.''

A. This is not a matter of advisability. It Doesn't say you should not. That Would be a priority choice.

B. This is not a matter of accountability. It doesn't say you must not. That Would be a moral choice.

C. It says you cannot. It is a matter of Impossibility. There is no choice.

C. Money can never satisfy.
