Title: Decision Time

This may not be viewed as a 'sermon' as much as it is message or better said, "An Invitation." As I sought to refine the message for tonight, I was impressed that God has been with us this week and many have responded, in one way or another. Tonight, our meeting ends, and the impact of this week will be measured in the effect and impact of the days ahead. Seems to me that tonight is a "Decision Time". For better or worse, I enjoy seeing what technology can offer and I weigh against the Bible what I find. For instance, today I fired up AI and asked it the definition of decision time.

"Decision time" refers to the moment or period during which a person or a group of people must make a choice or come to a conclusion about a particular matter. It's the point at which a decision needs to be made, and often involves weighing various options, considering pros and cons, and ultimately selecting the best course of action. Decision time can range from simple everyday choices to complex and impactful decisions that can have significant consequences. It's a critical juncture in the decision-making process where individuals or groups evaluate information, preferences, and factors to determine the best way forward.

Making a decision about the best way forward requires us to find, discover, and deploy, God's will. Do you realize that tonight could be the start of a fresh, new day for you personally and for this church collectively? God wants that for all His children and churches, but a decision is required. It's just like being a witness for our Lord. Last week in our men's discipleship group, someone said, "We are all witnesses for Christ, the question is what kind of witnesses are we?" We can decide to be witnesses that honor our Lord or without a decision we can dishonor Him. As a people, we can decide to be the church HE wants us to be or we can decide not to.
