Introduction
A. A survey was done among children who demonstrated positive self esteem and a sense of peacefulness. The findings were astounding:
Ninety-five percent of the boys said their fathers regularly told them, ''i love you.''
Ninety-eight percent of the girls said their mothers told them regularly, ''i'm proud of you, or you're doing a great job.''
Ninety-one percent of the kids said their parents played games with them.
Ninety-four percent said their fathers attended athletic events with them.
Ninety-seven percent of the boys said they got hugs from their dads.
One hundred percent of the girls said they got hugs from both mom and dad.
B. From this survey one can see the importance of strong moms and dads.
c. The bible is clear when it teaches the importance of passing values from one generation to the next.

1. Irrelevant: many do not view god as necessary or relevant.
ill. The attitude of many is life is what you make out of it.
2. Passive: many have a passive relationship with god. One that is determined by society, family, or church.
3. Active.
A. Passive christianity will not get you into heaven or get heaven into your home.
