1. There was not enough grazing land.
2. Abraham didn't want the unsaved to see them arguing.
3. Good lesson for baptist churches.
Ill. Devil would rather start a good church fight than sell a bag of dope.
4. Abraham was willing to sacrifice his wants for the cause of christ. ''Lot, you choose.''
B. Lot's choice was very selfish.
1. He had no thought for god or his family.
2. ''It was a purely business decision,'' he thought!
Ill. He was more interested in his gold than his god; his cattle than his children; his fortune than his family.
3. Sodom was a terrible place to raise children.
4. We need to be careful about making selfish choices in life.
B. His choice seemed small.
1. Didn't seem too bad.
2. He tried to hold on to god with one hand and the world with the other.
3. Didn't move all the way into sodom; he just moved towards sodom.
4. Be careful about borderline decisions. It want be long before you cross the line.
