B. Business week magazine listed the Top 10 toughest jobs. (you know the Really toughest? The one you do. Nobody has it as bad as you.
1. Inner city school teacher.
2. Police officer.
3. Coal miner.
4. Air traffic controller.
5. Medical intern.
6. Stock broker.
7. Journalist.
8. Customer service.
9. Waitress.
10. Secretary.
C. What is the secret to job Satisfaction? Find something you Like to do so well you'd gladly do it For nothing; then learn to do it Well so people will pay you for it.''
D. Today, i want us to look at some Principles that will make the job You do easier.
There are many scriptures we could turn To. Believe it or not the bible is filled With passages that mention work. Genesis introduces work to us. Ephesians talks about the joy of work. Proverbs gives instructions for good Work habits. Today, we will look at a Passage from proverbs 28:18.
I. Submit yourself for personal change.
A. You need a correct understanding Of the truth about work.
1. Too many think work is a result Of adam and eve's sin in the Garden.
Ill. Imagine god screaming at adam. Now, you've done it. For this You will work the rest of your Life. J
2. Not true. The nature of work Is good, not evil. God is a Worker. He created us as co- Workers. Work was assigned Before the fall not Afterwards. The ground was Cursed after the fall but not The task of cultivating it.
