A. A few years back the cover of us news Posed the question, ''who is jesus?''

1. The purpose of the article was To take ''a new look at jesus.''

2. The new look was through the Eyes of liberal theologians.

B. The problem with this article and Others like it is the writers are Searching the mind of man rather Than the mind of god.

1. This is the very problem paul Mentioned in romans when he Said, people were worshiping Creation rather than the Creator.

2. We normally think of that as Worship of the heaven's, etc..

3. Today's greatest shrine is the Mind of man. We worship Ourselves: our abilities; our Knowledge; our inventions; our Resources.

C. The question of ''who jesus is'' is the Most important of all questions.

1. Remember, a few weeks ago i Reminded you if you are wrong About jesus it doesn't really Matter what you are right About.

2. This question must be answered By everyone.

3. The conclusion is a matter of Life or death.

D. The bible is a jesus book.

1. All of it points to jesus.

2. Revelation 1:18 is a verse that Answers our question for us as To who jesus really is. This is God's revelation, not men's Speculation, as to who jesus is.

3. It is important for us to know Why we believe what we believe About jesus.

E. This message cannot be exhaustive. In Fact the bible says it would take the Books of the world to clearly tell us All there is to know about jesus.

F. This message will help us to Understand who he is and why we Believe the way we do.

G. To fully understand jesus we must Understand:
