Introduction
A. War has been a very tragic but real part of the history of the World.
B. We live in a world that is now in constant fear of the ultimate War; a nuclear holocaust that could literally destroy life as We know it on this planet.
C. One day there will be a war to end all wars. It is the battle of Armageddon. The forces of good and evil will collide. Good Will win out once and for all.
C. There is a battle taking place right now.
1. It is an unseen war that will intensify as we near the time Of invitation.
2. This war is as real as any war ever fought.
A. The stakes are high.
B. It is a battle for the souls of men and women.
I. The description of the war.
A. The place is the unseen world around us.
1. Our attention is so focused on the physical world we Think little about the spiritual world.
2. We are so busy dealing with the problems of the physical World we forget behind the scene affecting these Battles is a spiritual battle.
3. The bible is clear there is an unseen world that is real.
B. The powers of the world are spiritual.
Ill. There are really only two powers in the world: the power of God and the power of satan.
1. The heads:
A. God.
B. Satan.
Ill. Everyone is under the power of one or the other.
2. The hierarchy.
A. Angels.
B. Demons.
Ill. Michael: warrior. Heads the heavenly host.
3. The hatred. Satan hates god. His ultimate goal is to get God. He uses us. We are pawns on a chessboard.
Ii. The weapons.

1. Spiritually blind.
2. Satan blinds people to the truth.
B. Chaos.
1. God is a god of order, but satan is a god of chaos.
