1. There are signs that give us insight into the time of his Return.
2. The nt says it will be as it was in the days of noah: what Was it like in noah's day? Genesis 6:13 tells us.
E. The signs of his return can be summarized into several Categories.
I. Spiritual signs.
A. Falling away:
1. The emphasis will be more on comfort than commitment.
2. In america:
5/100 church members can't be found.20/100 church members don't pray. 25/100 don't read their bibles.30/100 never attend church. 40/100 never give.80/100 never do ministry.95/100 never share christ with anyone.22% say they have no commitment to christ.54% say the bible is not the word of god. For that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first.''
B. False religion.
1. The bible promises the line of false christs will grow longer and longer until the final embodiment of the anti-christ appears at the head of the procession.
2. The new age movement embodies many of the last days philosophies that will prevail:meditative exercises; astrology; crystalology; and reincarnation.
