Luke 19: 1-10
Introduction
A. Dr. R.g. Lee used to tell the story of his grandparents. His Grandfather fought in the civil war. One day his grandmother Received the word her husband had been killed in the war. It Was a dark day in the lee family. Dr. Lee's father recalls how He would go to sleep at night listening to his mom cry. One Day they were sitting on the front porch of their home Shelling peas. After a while his mom said, ''that man coming up The road looks like your father.'' dr. Lee's dad replied, ''mom, Dad's dead. He's not coming back.'' it was if she didn't hear him. She said, as the man drew closer, it looks just like him. Then, Before he could say a word, she jumped off the porch, ran Down the road, all the while yelling, ''they were wrong, they Were wrong, you're not dead! You're alive'' dr. Lee's dad Would often tell him how that was the happiest day of his Life.

A. People have come to christ for many reasons.
1. Some have come out of great desperation.
Ill. The woman who was diseased with a rare blood disease.
2. Some have come out of great condemnation.
Ill. The woman caught in adultery.
3. Some have come out of great exasperation.
Ill. Nicodemus: the religious system wasn't satisfying his Needs.
4. Some have come out of great fascination.
Ill. Zacchaeus.
B. Curiosity gets a negative rap.
