Author: Palitha Jayasooriya
Text: 2 Kings 4:38-44
Introduction:

At present, our nation is facing many shortages due to restrictions on imports. The Bible also refers to times when there has been and will be a famine of God's word.
Amos 8:11- "The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD, "when I will send a famine through the land- not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD".
In times of famine, we can always trust the Lord to care for us and to provide for us. He will never fail us!
Psalm 37:19 says, "In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty." What a great promise!
So, are you facing a famine-like situation today? Are you in need of God's provision? Is t ...
