Title: Does God Believe in Atheists? (4 of 11)
Series: Questions for God
Author: Jim Perdue
Text: Psalm 14
- I started a sermon series on Easter Sunday called Questions for God. I don't know about you, but I've talked to a lot of people who have some unanswered questions when it comes to God, the Bible, and Christianity. So, we're going to do our best over the next several weeks to address and answer some important questions about our faith.

Well, atheists think they have some intellectual reason to not believe in the existence of God. The next time you encounter an atheist, ask him this question, "How much knowledge and information exists in the universe?" It's impossible to answer that question. But everyone should agree there is a lot of knowledge in the universe. Then ask this question, "Do you think you have 100% of that knowledge?" Let's just assume this person is incredibly bright and intelligent and pretend they have 99% of all knowledge in the universe. No one is that smart, but let's just pretend. You can conclude with a simple question, "How do you know God doesn't exist in the 1% of knowledge you don't possess?" They simply have no answer for that. Anyone who is intellectually honest has to admit that they don't have complete knowledge of the universe and somewhere out there, God could exist. That's why I say I don't believe in atheists. And that's why I ask the humorous question this morning, Does God Believe in Atheists? Have you ever heard the saying, "There are no atheists in the trenches" or, "There ar ...
