How many of you would say today... that you're living "THE GOOD LIFE"?
When I think about 'the good life' my mind goes back to... Robin Leach. Remember him? When I was a kid I used to watch shows... "Lifestyles of the rich and famous" and MTV Cribs with all the houses and cars and the boats and the stuff... and I'd think-Wow! That's living the good life.

When you think about the good life, what picture pops in your mind? Many of us immediately associate 'the good life' with things that are physical... I'm talking about the money, and the mansion, and the Mercedes... right?

When you think about living 'the good life', your mind goes to traveling the world and making it rain... and living a life of comfort and luxury... excess and abundance... you associate 'the good life' with the hot tub and the back rub and grabbing a cold drink at the pub... And why do we do that? Because the world has convinced us... that THAT'S what 'the good life' is all about.

But understand today... that when God describes the good life... He never references our physical life, but rather, He talks about our spiritual life.

We aren't human beings that are having a spiritual experience (on the earth). We are spiritual beings that are having a human experience (on the earth).
The Bible says-this is not our home. [Hebrews 13:14 NLT] "For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking froward to a home yet to come."

If that true... and this world is not our home... what that tells us is... our goals for this life should look different than those who are in the world. The 'good life' should look different for a citizen of the Kingdom of God.

The writer of Hebrews said... you and I shouldn't live with our primary focus on this life... but rather, we should look forward to a home yet to come... in other words-we should b ...
