He Said That Drastic Change Happens at One Particular Point. You Would Think That Significant Changes Occur in a Steady Progression. For Example, We All Know That a River Doesn’t Flood Instantly When a Storm Hits. The Water Steadily Rises. But the Tipping Point Is the Moment the Water Crests the Water Bank. The Point Is There Is a Tipping Point, a Miracle Moment, When One More Change Makes All the Difference.
2. The Great Illustrationists Know Between 34 and 31 Degrees It Doesn’t Feel Much Colder Than the Difference Between 37 and 34 Degrees. But When That Three-Degree Drop Happens at the Tipping Point- 32 Degrees- Rain Becomes snow.1
3. Christianity Also Had a Tipping Point. Jesus Comes on the Scene and Does Some Incredible Things. He Teaches Things No One Had Ever Heard Before. He Performed Miracles No One Had Ever Seen or Even Conceived of Before. Through His Coming and After His Leaving There Never Has Been Anybody Like Jesus. How Did a Movement That Began in the 1st Century a.d. With Just a Few Disciples, Now in the 21st Century Have One-Third of the World’s Population, Over 2.2 Billion People, Come To Be Devoted Followers of This Man? What Was the Tipping Point?
4. It Wasn’t His Birth, Though Many Believe He Was Born of a Virgin. It Wasn’t His Life, Though Many Believe He Was Perfect. It Wasn’t His Miracles Though if What We Read Is True He Is the Greatest Miracle Worker in the History of the Planet. Even His Death, Because Crucifixion Was Not Only a Common Thing Back in That Day, but Everybody Dies. No, the Tipping Point That Instantly Set Fire to Christianity and Moved Eleven of Those Disciples to Turn the World Upside Down Was the Resurrection.
