Jude Series Sermon 8
Jde 1:20 KJV - But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith,
praying in the Holy Ghost,
Jde 1:21 KJV - Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our
Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jde 1:22 KJV - And of some have compassion, making a difference:
Jde 1:23 KJV - And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating
even the garment spotted by the flesh.
In ending his writing Jude is going to tell the church how to stay the course in
the midst of this horrible apostasy. Jude is not telling the church how to keep
their salvation; but how to stay within the wondrous sphere of God's blessings.
In the midst of all of this decisive departure the church must daringly stay the
course. The church will see many men depart down the road of apostasy; but
the true Christian will remain solid as the rock of Gibraltar.
