I Corinthians 1:2; 30-31 - "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: (30) But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (31) That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."

Salvation in its panorama is all of God.

The Great Doctrines of Salvation is the result of man's sin -- God's answer to fallen man. Man must be saved from something.

The Doctrine of Sin

Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Sin is that something that man must be saved from.

The Doctrine of Substitution

Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Man being spiritually dead by his sin can do nothing to save himself. The heart of God is moved in love and grace, so God decides to provide salvation for man himself.

The Doctrine of Conversion

Once a man understands that he is a guilty sinner and that Jesus Christ died for his sins and became his substitute for the payment of sin, then he is ready to turn from the old life to a new way in Christ.

The Doctrine of Justification

Just-as-if-id never sinned. This is a position in which man is rightly related to God and stands accepted before God in the righteousness of Christ by faith in his hear.

The Doctrine of Eternal Security

You need to know that you have it before you worry about losing it. You can know that you are eternally secure in Christ.
