Happy Mother's Day!
I found the following really interesting. The people at Welch's Grape Juice commissioned a study of 2,000 mothers with children between the ages of five and twelve years of age. They discovered that moms work an average of 98 hours per week. Yes, I said 98 hours a week. On average, mom clocks in at 6:23 am and clocks out at 8:31 pm.1
That's a fourteen-hour day if you are keeping track at home! So based on this date, when your child reached eighteen years of age, moms you have put in nearly 92,000 hours of work. No wonder you are so tired :)!
One of the reasons moms work so much is the number of roles she plays. Moms Wear a LOT of Hats The average mother wears a lot of hats. The average mom has more than twenty different positions:
-Chief Financial Officer
-Chief Operating Officer
-Logistics Analyst
-Housekeeper
-Laundry Manager
-Van Driver
-School Teacher
-Facilities Manager
-Meeting/Event Planner
-Kitchen Manager
-Assistant Athletics Director

-Nutrition Director

Moms, you put in the work! Moms, so many of you are amazing! Your mother may have adopted you, given birth to you, or filled the role of mom for you for a number of reasons. I hope you'll give thanks to your mother today. I hope you'll give thanks to our God for your mother this day. Today, I want to raise the flag to champion courageous, god-fearing mothers.

I have a ladder behind me. Every single one of us has a ladder of love in our minds and hearts. At the top of our individual love ladders something or someone is occupying the top rung.
