DESCRIPTION OF SERMON: Hearing the voice of the Lord must be learned. His voice guides us through the circumstances of life no matter how far off the mark we get. Scriptures in John 10 assure us that the voice of the shepherd always overshadow Satan's diversions.

I want to share a few minutes from the word of the Lord. Thank God that we have the word of the Lord. Thank God that we don't have to go to Sears Roebuck catalog to get our messages, because they canceled the Sears Roebuck catalog. But the bible will never be canceled! People thought Sears would never cancel theirs, but praise God every other thing may be canceled but the word of God will never pass away. Every other thing will be shaken. But the word of God will never pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away but the word of God is forever.

In John 10:3-5, we are talking about what the Lord God has to say about you. There are many things he has to say about you and I can't get it all in one message, but I want to share with you over the next few minutes what God is saying about you right now. I believe that God is thinking about you. The bible says, "I know the thoughts that I have toward you saith the Lord. They are not thoughts of your calamity, but they are thoughts that give you a future and give you hope" (Jeremiah 29:11).
