DESCRIPTION OF SERMON: God wants you to be well degreed in the spirit of faith and in the Word of faith. What is faith? Faith is following God not knowing where, waiting on God not knowing when and trusting God not knowing how He's going to do it, but we just believe He is going to do it.

I have several degrees. I have a Bachelors degree, a Juris Doctor degree in law, and a Doctor of Ministry degree. When I was a young boy, I believe it was the Lord and I didn't know the Lord that good, the Lord showed me my name with all kinds of letters behind it and I didn't even know what it was. Later on I found out it was some degrees, letters behind your name. I believe the Lord had that for me to have a lot of education. In the same way, I believe that God has chosen you to have some letters right behind your name. I believe God wants F.A.I.T.H. behind your name. God wants you to be well degreed in the spirit of faith and in the word of faith.
What is faith? In Hebrews 11:1-4 is says, "Now faith is the substance if things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders received witness or a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts." We see here that we begin to get the definition of faith from the word of God. It talks about faith being the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen. Notice that faith is now.
