Stand By Me
In 1986, the world was introduced to my most favorite movie ever produced, that movie is now known as "Stand By Me." The movie was produced by "Rob Reiner" and one of the writers was "Stephen King" on which the movie was based from his book, "The Body."
The movie is based upon the friendship of four twelve-year-old boys, as school has ended and they are facing the last days of summer, before entering middle school. The main characters are Gordie Lachance, Chris Chambers, Teddy Duchamp, and Vern Tessio.
Gordie's brother had just died a few months earlier and he was struggling due to miss his brother, as his family had no clue how to deal with their grief. Chris had a stigma on his life, due to stealing some petty cash money at school, though he had given it back to the teacher, who stole it, leaving Chris as the young culprit of her crimes. Vern was the punching bag of the group, though they all loved him for his humor and innocence. Teddy, was the one that had the roughest upbringing, due to his dad suffering from being in war.
These four guys had an unbreakable bond, as they went on a journey to find the body of Ray Brower, who was missing as he went to pick blueberries and was hit by a train while walking on the tracks. Vern had heard ...
