Title: How Can the Blind Begin to See?
Primary Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:16
Author: Jeff Schreve

If you have your Bible, please turn to 2 Corinthians chapter 4. I want us to focus in on preparing for Easter weekend. We're just a few days away from Good Friday and Easter Sunday, and, really, when you think about it, Easter, for every church, that's the biggest Sunday in terms of attendance that the church has all year. Studies show more people go to church at Easter than any other Sunday. And so, it's a chance to make an impact, because if a person only goes to church on Easter, I'm glad they come. We're not going to poke them in the eye and say, "Where have you been the other Sundays?" But that tells you something about that person. The Lord is not very important to them. One of the things I've noticed over the years at Eastertime, that's where you have a lot of spiritual warfare, because you have a lot of people there who are not necessarily wanting to be there. They're guilted into being there. "You get no Easter lunch," Gramma says, "unless you come to church." You know, that kind of deal. And so, you can feel it. And I was telling the staff this today. So, the 8:30 service tends to have more of our church family in it, and so it's warmer because people are there, and they want to worship. The 10:30 service tends to have a lot of people that don't normally come to church. And so, you can feel that there is resistance. We need to prepare for that. You know, the Lord says that people that don't know Him are blind. And Jesus said in John chapter 3 to Nicodemus, "Unless one is born again, he cannot see..." So, there's going to be lots of spiritual blindness not only in our church this Sunday, but in many, many churches all over the nation and all over the world.

So, my title for today: How Can The Blind Begin To See?" And what can you and I do to help the spiritually blind see?

Here's what Paul said in 2 Corinthians chapter 4: "Therefo ...
