Intro:
Howdie. Good to see you all today.

Week 3 of 8 weeks in the ancient prophetic narrative of Jonah. The sermon today is titled "Revival Ready". I really wanted to call it "Sometimes the way to a man's heart is through a fish's stomach." But no one in our comms department finds me as funny as I do.

This study has been challenging and extremely helpful so far. It is amazing to me how the Scriptures speak to so many in such different ways every time they are faithfully read and taught.

Here is what happened in the narrative so far:

- Jonah said "no thank you" and ran the other way to Spain and as he did so he attempted to flee from the presence, or the face, or the conviction of the Lord.
- God, doesn't let up on people so easily, and so he sovereignly sent a storm and some Pagans became believers and Jonah got thrown overboard into the depths of the stormy sea.
