John 14-16
ILLUS. - Every now and then at the beach I'll take our KITE. But if I brought it into this room ... I can't fly it. Imagine us running around the room trying to fly kites in this room ... we'd look ridiculous! - You can't fly a kite w/o WIND. In John 14-16 Jesus is teaching the disciples in his final discourse before the cross. In chapters 14, 15, and 16 Jesus at various points teaches about the Holy Spirit.
- Look at these passages today I want us to answer 3 questions to help us better understand Him ... Who is He? What is He doing? What does this mean for you today?
Jn. 14:16-17 - 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You ...
