1 Timothy 2:1-3

The child of God has the responsibility of representing God to men. As the New Testament saint studies the Word of God, dwells in the Word of God, and saturates his soul with the Word of God, he is able to communicate the Word of God to others by precept and by example. The child of God studies the Scripture, not in order to become a depository of truth, but to become a dispenser of truth. Paul instructed Timothy, "The things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also" (2 Tm 2:2). Indeed, not everyone who prays can anticipate a heavenly response. The Bible teaches that the promises of God are to His children. The Sermon on the Mount was addressed to the disciples of Jes ...
