Isa 50:4 KJV - The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isa 50:5 KJV - The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
Isa 50:6 KJV - I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
Isa 50:7 KJV - For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Heb 12:2 KJV - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus was the epitome of tough, as he endured the cross, and all that it encompassed. He withstood the beating, the scourging, the slapping, the crown of thorns being thrust into his skull.
In reality, he Lord Jesus Christ was "Nail Tough" as he defeated sin and Satan.
In the 1980's Chrysler Dodge begin making commercials "Ram Tough" commercials, advertising how tough their trucks were, especially their ability to withstand harsh conditions and their ability to out pull any competitors.
