Calling the Next Witness (50 of 70)
And The Word Became Flesh
John 5:30-47
Pastor Jeff Schreve

If you have your Bible, please turn to John, chapter 5. We have been in John, chapter 5 for several weeks now. It's a great chapter, 47 verses. It's chock full of really critical information concerning the deity of Christ. And tonight, we want to talk about the witnesses that witness to the deity of Christ.

Now, every trial lawyer knows that it is important to have witnesses. If you're going to win a case, you have to have witnesses. And the more witnesses that you can bring to a trial that testify to the truth that, "This is what happened. This is what I saw....", the more validity you bring to the case. In the O.J. You weren't supposed to do that. This guy was carrying his pallet. "Don't carry your pallet. It's the Sabbath." That is grounds to be stoned to death for breaking the Sabbath. "Well, the guy that healed me told me to do this." "Who's the guy that healed you?" ...
