Exodus 15:1-27

The year was 1963. Two songwriters, Dean Kay and Kelly Gordon, wrote a song. It was a catchy little song. It started to get some radio play. It really didn't take off all that much until a man heard that song in 1965, a man named Frank Sinatra, and Sinatra said, "I want to record this song." And he recorded the song, and it shot to number four on the Billboard Top 100. The song is simply titled, That's Life. Here are the lyrics:

"That's life
That's what all the people say
You're riding high in April, shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna change that tune
When I'm back on top, back on top in June
I said that's life.

Mountaintops and valley bottoms - the highs and lows of life.

And the pharaoh who was in charge, Thutmose III, he was pharaoh during those years. He's the pharaoh of Egypt. He was known as the strongest and most mighty in terms of military conquering ability of all the pharaohs. God took this man, this proud pharaoh, and He just crushed him to nothing, and He drowned his whole army in the Red Sea.
