Ephesians 6:18-19 - "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (19) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,"

Prayer is the battlefield where all the battles are fought and won!

Anytime we mention prayer -- we have to mention faith. I believe prayer is the breath of faith and I believe that prayer, without faith, will not move a thing. It is understood in the Bible that prayer is faith and faith is prayer.

Intercessory prayer is the key in defeating Satan!

People think that intercession is a prayer to God, but in my opinion, it is not. Naturally, it would include verbalizing something to God, but intercession has more meaning that that.

Intercession is a part of waging the warfare for the soul of a lost person! A man becomes an intercessor when he decides that nothing will satisfy him but the answer to his prayer and he commits himself to the answer and if need be, to be a part of that answer.

Satan is in charge of a lost man.

First, a man without Jesus is dead in trespasses and sin.

Ephesians 2:1 - "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;"

Being dead in trespasses and sin means he is spiritually dead and God can't reach into his spirit -- he is separated from God.

This means that man, being controlled by Satan, gave Satan access to "blind" him. This means literally to blind his mind, and not just his mind, but also the eyes of his spirit to the point that he cannot see the things of God.

We talk about the free will of man, but when Satan is in charge of a man, his will is not free. That man is blinded and bound by the god of this world and is a servant of unrighteousness.

II Corinthians 4:4 - "In whom the god of this world hath blinded ...
