1 Corinthians 6:1-8

I heard a story about a man, who was sitting at a bar, and there was a drink in front of him, and he was staring at the drink, and he was staring at the drink for half an hour. And this other guy that was at the bar, this big, burly, kind of a rowdy guy, he'd been watching this guy staring at his drink. And, finally, he had enough. And he walked over to him. He looked at him. He grabbed the man's drink and he drank it. Put the cup down. And the guy that had been staring at the drink looked at him and just burst out started crying. And the burly guy felt bad. He didn't really know what to do. He's like, ''Hey, buddy, I'm sorry. It's just a joke. I'll buy you another drink.'' He said, ''No, you don't understand.'' He said, ''Today has been a terrible day. It's just a horrible day.'' He said, ''First of all I got up late and I had a very important meeting. I was on the bubble at work and I had to be at this important meeting. I got up late. And so I hurried to the meeting, and I got a speeding ticket, which caused me to be even later. He said, ''And as I was driving home, I got into an automobile accident and I totaled my car.'' He said, ''I had to get a ride home to my house.'' And he said, ''When I got the ride home to my house, I came home and my wife had left me.''

He said, ''Everything went wrong.'' He said, ''I came to this bar and I was contemplating ending it all. And now you show up and drink my poison!''
