There is no easy way to preach on hell, it is horrible, it is horrific, and the very idea of hell is haunting. There are only two destinations after this life, one is heaven and the other is hell. This world is filled with over 70% of people that say they believe in heaven, but most do not believe they will ever go to hell.
I will never forget there was a young man in my community growing up in Crandall, Georgia. He had a fast car and he liked to drive it very fast and everyone was aware of his actions.
One day him and some of his friends had been out drinking and they had separated while they went to get more alcohol. Rickey, was going down the main thorough of our hometown and wanted to make a right turn onto a sideroad, which was a full 90 degree turn.
He did not slow down very much as he made this turn to the right and his speedster flipped over into a deep ravine, which was filled with kudzu vines. The car immediately went up in flames and a truckdriver stopped and ran to the side of the hill, looking down at the car which was consumed with flames, hearing this young man scream for someone to get him out.
The sad thing about it was that it was impossible for anyone to get that young man out of that car. It was immediately consumed and by the time any sort of rescue team showed up it was over, the young man had died. I am still haunted by thinking about this story and how it literally destroyed this young man's father and mother, they were never the same.
It all could have just as easily been avoided by not drinking and driving or by not drinking and driving, while speeding. This young man ...
