Foundations - Foundation OF the Church

Ephesians 2:20, Matthew 28:18-20
Everything that's ever been built... had a beginning.
If you've ever built a house... it had a beginning.
If you've ever built a family... it had a beginning.
If you've ever built a business... that business started at one point or another.
What hat tells me... is:
- If you're going to eventually succeed at something... you've got to start something.
- If something is going to become beneficial... it has to have a beginning.
Here's why this is so important:

- Start a new chapter... of getting right with the Lord... or leading your family differently... (or maybe you're wanting to...)
- Begin a new season, where you walk in a brand new direction... a direction where you honor the Lord with your life.
That's awesome! I believe the Lord blesses new beginnings... especially when those new beginnings are designed to bring glory to God! (PAUSE)
You know... The church had a beginning... And when it began, God gave us his blueprints and plans for the church... He established its foundation... it's mission... it's strategy... and He even gave us goals. And you know what He shows us?

...and we're going to talk about that today in [Ephesians chapter 2].
The Leaning Tower of Pisa... is going to fall! I don't know when, but Scientists all agree that it's going to happen. You know why? Two reasons:
1. The building was built on 'marshy land.' In fact, that's what the word 'Pisa' means. It means, marshy land... swampy land...
2. The foundation of the tower is only ...
