Introduction
1. By all accounts Tom Brady is the greatest NFL quarterback of all time. He is the seven time Super Bowl winner, a five time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player, and a three time NFL Most Valuable Player. When it counts, his middle name is "success," but a few years ago after winning his third Super Bowl he did an interview with Steve Kroft on 60 Minutes that was fascinating. He said this... 2. He said two things that should get your attention. He said, "There's got to be more than this" and when asked what it was he said, "I wish I knew." I agree with his first statement and I honestly believe I have the answer to his second statement.
3. One of the biggest philosophical and metaphysical questions that has been asked throughout history is, "Is there life after death?" I believe there is an even bigger question that must be answered before that one which is, "Is there life after birth?" I don't mean just existence. I mean real life.
4. One of my favorite movies of all time is Braveheart. It is not just the action or plot but some of the greatest thoughts ever uttered are made in that film. The hero, William Wallace made such a statement when he said this, "Every man dies...but not every man lives."
5. We are in a series we are calling, "What Say You?" It is based around (I believe) the three great questions we all have to answer while we are in this life. The first question is, "What Lord are you going to love?" Everybody worships some god. Everybody loves some kind of lord and the answer to that question will really determine the answer to the next two questions. I know that because of something Jesus said that if it is true, the only life worth living is a life loving the right lord.
