Introduction

1. There is a journey that we are all on right now. We didn't ask to join the journey and we never received an invitation to join the journey. One day we were all thrust into this journey without knowing where this journey is going to take us and without knowing when it is going to end. That journey is called "life."

2. As you begin your journey, at first life is pretty much care free, you don't really have to make any important decisions, because most every decision is made for you, but that stage of life doesn't last very long. Then, you come to the increasing realization that life revolves around making decisions and answering questions. Some decisions are minor and some decisions are major. Some questions can be answered quickly and easily and regardless of what answer you give won't have much of an impact on your life. But, there are three questions that we are all forced to answer and three decisions we are all forced to make that not only has the greatest impact on the time we have on this earth, but any impact we are going to have once we leave it.

3. We are beginning a series today I am calling "What Say You?" I am going to share with you those three great questions in this series and frankly am going to give you what God's word says are the three correct answers. The first question is this one, "What Lord am I going to love?"

4. I freely admit that question carries an assumption that I believe is true. We all worship and love something or someone above everything else. Whoever or wherever that is is your lord. That lord may be your ego, your money, your family, your job, power, influence, pleasure, happiness, and even your own life. This first question I believe is the fundamental question that determines the answer to the other two questions.
