DO RIGHT: YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF
Hebrews 13:5-8
We're studying Hebrews. We have been studying Hebrews. And we're gi-rng to
.study Hebrews two more Sundays before we change pace a little bit. So if you have
your Bibles open to Hebrews chapter 13, we've already looked at the first four verses.
Today we begin with the fifth verse. We look at five, six, seven and eight of Hebrews
chapter number 13. If you didn't bring your Bibles with you, they're disguised as a
hymnal in your pew. I think it helps to have it so you can follow along in our teaching
together. Let's bow for prayer.
Father we thank You for this day, this Lord's day, this resurrection day. And,
Lord, we pray that in this service You will meet with us, deal with us
individually, but lead us to a service of overflowing praise collectively. You
speak, 0 Lord, and let me get out of the way so that Thy Word and Thy Truth
might be heard, received, understood, and, 0 Lord, help us not just to hear, but
help us to live it as we walk out of this place. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Last week a friend of mine from Oklahoma told me that he had just realized the thrill
of a lifetime. He had played a couple of weeks ago, the Augusta National Golf

Course, where the Masters is played. He said he'd been invited three or four times,
couldn't afford to go, was never able to go, and finally his wife said, "Tom, if you're
ever going to play, to ahead and play; he may never ask you again." So he said, "I
got on an airplane, flew to Augusta, my friend picked me up, we went out to the golf
course." He said, "I got on the practice tee there." He said, "They assigned me a
caddie, a well-known caddie by the name of Mr. Willy Horton." And as he said he
watched me get all my practice shots, and he did that so he'd know what club to tell
me to use when I got on the course, the various distances we'd be hitting. And he
