Ecclesiastes 9:5-6
We live in an odd day: many in our culture flock to the occult and attractions inspired by demonic influences-and Christians live as though this does not exist!
The Bible tells us to expect an atmosphere of strong demonic delusion at the close of this Age. Some of you listening know someone who will become an accomplice to a demon; people or ideas, luring your sweetheart, spouse, or child into a life of unbelief... with the result being an eternity of damnation under the curse of God.
There are things we must understand and things we must know.
Demons understand the times and are aware they need to increase activities. I Timothy 4:1 says, ''the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to doctrines of devils.''
In these last days, sorcery, spiritism and the occult, along with deceitful anti-Christian wonders and demon-inspired miracles shall be prevalent. II Thessalonians 2:7-10 says: ''for the mystery of iniquity doth already work...with all power and signs and lying wonders... with all deceivableness...in them that are perishing; because they received not the love of the Truth, that they might be saved.''
During the last two decades [1960-1980] a generation of persons are immersed in humanism, New Age, deceivers...
These dangers are imparted to our children through television cartoons. For example, Isis, and friendly demons are acceptable, while prayer to Jehovah God is outlawed in public schools. Hollywood stars write books extoling the virtues and exciting ideas of reincarnation, astrology, séance, and various spiritual phenomena; while the science community and educators declare that God is dead; that no god created the universe; that human life is nothing more than a chance formation of animals from minute cell-matter... and such ascends in popularity like shooting stars.
