And this is one of those weeks cuz I get to talk to you today about the hope of Heaven today. One of my favorite subjects.
[00:00:45] Um, let me ask you to do this. Would you picture heaven? Just in, in your mind, just kind of imagine what it looks like, like what do you see? Right. In fact, let’s do this. If you’re watching online, I want you to put the answer in the comments. If, uh, you’re in person in one of our campuses, I want you to find somebody sitting near you and I’m gonna [00:01:00] say, I’m gonna count to three, and then I’m gonna say, I see.
[00:01:02] And you just fill in the blank. I see. Whatever it is. Okay. When you’re picturing heaven, what do you see? Find somebody. 1, 2, 3, ic, go ahead and say it. I’m curious. How many of you said the same thing as the person you’re talking to? All right. A few people. Yeah. I find that in the, in the western world where Christianity has had a long influence on, uh, on culture, a lot of people picture very similar things.
[00:01:23] And so a lot of people, people picture streets of gold. How many picture streets of gold? Yeah. Yeah. How many people picture, uh, pearl gates, pearly gates? That’s a big one. A lot of people picture angels playing Har. I have no idea why the Bible does not say that angels play harps trumpets. Yes, harps. No, but we got off this idea, right?
