Lord, You are God, Your are Lord, and You are the King we worship, come and inhabit each and every word in this sermon. Let the Holy Spirit come and reveal new things for 2023. We come before You Lord with an expecting heart, mind, and soul to hear Your heart. In the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus the Christ, amen and amen.’’
Let us start in the Old Testament and let us listen to Moses. The same God Moses served and he worshipped, is the same God we serve and worship. The same God of Moses is also our God who can solve any one of our problems.
Exodus 20:23
You shall not make anything to be with Me-gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.
In 2023 the same is true, do not make any idols in your life. In 2023 each of us needs to do a deep dive into our own spiritual walk with the Lord. Think about the things in life encroaching on your time with the Lord?
