WORKING BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET

John 19:38

I hope you already have your Bibles open. I'm going to read two passages

of Scripture, one in the Gospel of John, Chapter 19, Verse 38 following;

and then for the parallel passage in Luke, Luke Chapter 23, Verse 50 fol-

disciple of Jesus, but a secret one for fear of the Jews,

took away His body. And Nicodemus came also who had

first come to Him by night, bringing a mixture of myrrh

and aloes, about a hundred pounds weight. And so they

took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen wrappings

"And behold, a man named Joseph who was a member of the

council, a good and righteous man, he had not consented

to their plan and action, a man from Arimathea, a city

of the Jews, who was waiting for the kingdom of God.

This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus."

Let's pray together.
