SEGMENT 1

Good AM - I’m looking forward to our time together as we gather for worship. Today, as we continue in our series on the SOTM, we’re going to be shaking things up a bit for a more interactive experience. For today, we’re going to do more than talk about the Lord’s Prayer - we’re actually going to pray thru the Lord’s Prayer individually/collectively. To set the stage, let’s re-read a portion of Jesus’ words in Matthew 6 that we touched on last week.

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard b/c of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. ‘‘This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:9-13

Sadly, like most of the aspects of their religi ...
