SCARECROWS
Matthew 25:14-39
Annually we have a stewardship message in which we pledge the budget of this
church. This is the Sunday. We've been studying the book of Romans. Been
talking about faith, and so this is the Sunday we have a chance to exercise
that faith in a tangible, tangible way. Open your Bibles if you would to
Matthew, Chapter Number 25. I'll begin reading with Verse 14 and read through
Verse 30. Matthew 25:14-30.
14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travezing into a
far country, who calted his own servants, and dezivered unto
them his goods. 1 5And unto one he gave five tazents, to
another, two, and to another, one, to every man according to
his severaz abizity; and straightway took his journey. 16 Then
he that had received the five tazents went and traded with
the same, and made them other five tazents. 1 7And Zikewise
he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18 But
he that had received one went and digged in the earthand
hid his lord's money. 19 After a Zong time the Lord of those
servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 2OAnd so he that
had received five tazents ccone and brought other five talents,
saying, Lord, thou deziveredst unto me five tazents@ behozd,
-T have gained beside them five tazents more. 21 His Zord said
unto him, WELZ done, thou good and faithfuz servant.- thou
hast been faithfuz over a few things. -T wiZZ make thee ruzer
over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Zord.
