Faith Steps leads us towards a nervous faith.

Yet, faith steps are us willing to say YES to what God calls us to do.

And one thing I have learned to be true over the years...

A YES to Faith Steps is found at the Feet of Jesus!

I want to introduce you to a man just like this in the bible.

The story is found in John Chapter 3.

Let jump into this story. A story found at the beginning of Jesus ministry.

John 3:1 3 Now there was a Pharisee, (If you are unfamiliar w/ the bible this is a religious leaders who pledged to obey all traditions and laws down to the smallest detail

Over 600 laws they tried to follow.

a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council.

Nicodemus was a member of the Jewish sect of influential Pharisees and a member of the Sanhedrin, the highest Jewish court.

John 3:2 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, ‘‘Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.’’

He came to Jesus at night

This Powerful leader was willing to risk his wealth, status and popularity all to come to Jesus maybe that is why he did it at night.

Maybe a Night so..
not everyone saw him.

Maybe at night b/c he did not want to be bothered by the crowds

Maybe so the other Pharisees would not see him. They would have put pressure on him and called for his status to be taken away.

We really do not know

Either way He came to Jesus

Which for a religious leader like himself would have had to take great courage!!
