History (2 of 4)
Series: The Coming of the Christ
Dr. Darrow Perkins
Psalm 40:7

Today were going to focus on the history books of the Old Testament. These books cover the life of the nation from their possession of the land down to the losing of the land due to their unbelief and disobedience. The history books also covers 800 years of Israel’s history, the reigns of the judges, the establishment of kings, the division of Israel into Northern and Southern kingdoms, even to the exile of the Southern Kingdom into Babylon, and the return of Jerusalem under the leadership of Nehemiah and Ezra.

I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.’’ Joshua shows the salvation of the Lord.
