THE IDOLATRY OF EMOTIONALISM

I John 5:21



By vocational, well, we know what kind of Minister of Music he is, Mr.

Moore. And I ain't gonna let him preach. Brother Dixon's gonna have a

word for us before we go tonight, Before that, I want us to have a word

together. And as we begin, let's bow in prayer:

Father, we thank You for the joy of fellowship, for the thrill of being
in Thy house with brethren, for the openness, the spontaneity, for Him
who unifies us in Jesus Christ. 0, Lord, tonight I pray that you will
speak to hearts. Let me get out of the way so that Thy word and Thy
holy ap-d @ivinp- measage miqht not only be heard, Father, may Thy truth
be understood, applied, and incorporated into our living. We pray
tonight, 0, Lord, that lives will be changed in such a way that we can
only explain it in terms of the supernatural, for we make this petition
in the name of our living Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
It never ceases to amaze me how Christians can take that which is real
and allow it to be counterfeited until it becomes artificial.
Everything that God has done that is real for man, satan has come along
and counterfeited it and so many times we select that which is
counterfeit rather than that which is real. I don't know how this
happened to us, but it certainly must have happened in the fall of man.
