Avoiding a Blue Christmas (3 of 4)
Series: The Colors of Christmas
Mike Stone
Job 1:1-2:8

SYNOPSIS: This message is a word of encouragement as believers endure the fiery trials of life. Drawn from the life and loss of Job, this message is a word for any season.

In one of the most iconic holiday songs, Elvis Presley crooned about the sadness of a blue Christmas. The God of the nursery is still God of the cemetery.
The God who heals is the same God that allows sickness.
The God of white lights, red ribbons, and green trees is still God when the blues illuminate the Christmas tree.

When the blue snowflakes start falling and those blue memories start calling, Job shows us some things about facing the trials of life with faith in God.
