THE FINAL JUDGMENT
Revelation 20:1-15
... Revelation 20. We'll not get through this chapter tonight. We're
going to save verse 11 through verse 15 for next Sunday morning. The
Great White Throne Judgment I think needs to stand alone. So that'll be
Sunday morning. Revelation 20, verse 1 through 10 we'll look at
tonight. Let's bow for prayer together.
Father, we're people tonight who need Thee. Most of us have received
Thee as our Savior. But so many times we just wander away like sheep
with our attitudes, our personalities, our bitterness, our cynicism, our
biting words, our sarcasm, our questions that have a touch of the
satanic about them, our innuendos that speak of foulness, and sometimes,
oh, Lord, our lifestyles and our habits that certainly disappoint Thee
as we are disappointed with ourselves. Lord, You speak tonight in this
service. Break through all the hardness, the coldness, the veneer that
keeps us from joy and peace with Thee and with our fellow man.
Tenderize that heart that has grown hard and professional or tough.
Work in that mind that has become slanted and twisted. Yea, Father,
touch that personality that seems so weighted down tonight with all the
burdens and lift that mind to the fount of refreshment. Where there is
discouragement, we pray oh, Lord, give a rekindling of faith. You
speak, let me get out of the way, so that Thy word and Thy message alone
might be heard. For we make this prayer in the holy name of Jesus
Christ, our Savior. Amen.
