WHAT DOES HEAVEN LOOK LIKE?
Revelation 4:1-11

Let's bow in prayer together.

Father, we come into Thy presence boldly, not because of anything we
have or anything we are, but because Thou hast made us bold through the
gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. Lord, You speak and let me get out
of the way so that Thy word and Thy message alone might not only be
heard, but may it be received and understood and incorporated into our
living. Father, may this be a time of reverence and holiness as we
listen for Thee. We pray through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
The appointment was for one hour. But this couple worked and planned
for many, many months. They worked at the itinerary. They thought
about their dress. They prepared for a limousine. They even took a
special course in etiquette. And before the hour arrived, they had
spent two or three days in the city going over their arrival and
departure route, going over the words and the protocol till finally the
morning of their appointment.
They got up early. They dressed. Everything was in place. They went
over all the procedure. The limousine came. They got in, and the wife
looked at her husband and said, "I can't believe we've got this
invitation." And they got to the palace. The guard said, "I must see
the invitation." They went past the guard to the gate. They were

admitted through the gate, and people opened the door and guided them
and helped them.

And they entered a large hall. In the hall, there were large doors.
And they noticed the ceiling was made out of wood from many countries.
And on the walls were original portraits by the famous artists of the
world.
