MAKING BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TOGETHER - PART I
I Corinthians 1:10
Tell you between Jeff and Willa, there's nowhere else to go. God bless
you. I've never heard either one of them sing any better this morning,
have you? Honest. Smart preacher'd go home, but we're not gonna do that.
Hope you have your Bibles open to I Corinthians, chapter number 1, verse
10, for our background word.
10 "Now I beseech brethren, but he name of our Lord Jesus
Christ. That ye all speak the same thing. That there be no
divisions among you but that ye be perfectly joined together
in the same mind and in the same judgement."
Let's pray together. Lord, we thank You for the gift of music and the
way it touches us in sensitive areas. The way it deals with us through
Thy truth of the gospel in a way that we would not readily receive had
it not stirred those spiritual cords. Lord, we pray now in this service
through Thy word and through the principals incorporated there, that
they may be illuminated before us. Father, you speak, let me get out of
the way so that Thy word and Thy holy and divine message might not only
be heard, but Father may it be received and understood and incorporated
into our living. For we make this prayer in the strong, holy, saving
name of Jesus Christ our dear Savior and our dear Lord, through Him we
pray. Amen
